Green Mobility Symposium 2020: Present your solutions to Japanese stakeholders in the hydrogen/EV sectors

Looking for Swiss technologies for the future of sustainable mobility in Japan

The Japanese government first outlined the importance of the country shifting away from conventional internal combustion engines automobiles in a major way in the Next Generation Automobile Strategy published by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in 2010. While the 2010 strategy mainly relied on the increased adoption of hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and hybrid vehicles, it was followed by the 2014 Strategic Roadmap for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells and the 2017 Basic Strategy for Hydrogen in which the government expressed its commitment to realizing a “hydrogen society.”

With Japan planning to make its sources for power generation cleaner over the coming decade, and Japanese automakers like Toyota and Nissan generating a considerable portion of their revenues overseas where regulations are more stringent and targets around EVs and FCVs more aggressive, there are several opportunities in Japan regarding “green mobility” that are well-worth exploring.

Switzerland Gobal Enterprise and the Swiss Business Hub Japan are hosting an online “Green Mobility Symposium” with the aim to showcase the Swiss innovation landscape and clean mobility solutions, as well as to provide Swiss companies and Start-ups in the related sectors the opportunity to present their solutions directly to main stakeholders on the Japanese market and eventually generate new business opportunities.

Why participate?

Opportunity to pitch your product/technology directly to Japanese stakeholders from the hydrogen and EV sectors (automobile manufacturers, tech suppliers, refueling station providers, energy companies, public entities active in smart city implementation).

  • Opportunity to pitch your product/technology directly to Japanese target companies
  • Opportunity to upload promotional materials to an online platform for the duration of six weeks
  • Opportunity to request meetings and receive meeting requests by Japanese target companies for the duration of use of the online platform
